Onmund is a student at the College of Winterhold. He holds a slight grudge against his family for ridiculing his chosen path in life instead of becoming a hunter, farmer or warrior.
His grudge caused him to sell a family heirloom, Onmund's Amulet to Enthir, a decision he has come to regret, leading to Onmund's Request. If the Dragonborn gets his heirloom back, he will agree to become a follower. As a follower, he will use frost and shock spells, falling back on a bow when sneaking.
His room is on the lower level of the Hall of Attainment, in the south-west cell.
