The Mage's tower Battlespire is a famous structure that stood in a mystical space between Oblivion and Mundus. It was occupied by the Imperial Battlemages of the famed Shadow Legion. It was destructively invaded by daedra during the Third Era.
Battlespire is the known location of a legendary enchanted weapon, a mace known simply as 'Scourge'. The history of this weapon and its location in the tower are documented in the book The Legendary Scourge, which can be found in certain locations in present-day Skyrim.
