Arnbjorn is a Nord warrior, blacksmith, and assassin for the Dark Brotherhood in southern central Skyrim. He is the loyal and doting husband of Astrid, and insists that everyone in the Sanctuary be absolutely obedient to her. He is also a former member of the Companions, in fact of the Circle, and therefore a Werewolf. He explains that his break from the Companions was due to their distress over his "methods", which one would take to mean his method of killing execution targets.
After Astrid's betrayal, he is killed along with most of the Brotherhood in a raid by Penitus Oculatus agents.
